Who we are
Wayforth Technologies, Inc., doing business as Mytelligent ("Mytelligent," "we," "us" or "our"), makes M1 and the Mytelligent app. Our address is 1500 N. Rainbow Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89108, United States.
M1 is a screenless AI voice assistant that you wear on your chest. You use it together with the Mytelligent phone app for iPhone and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what M1, the Mytelligent app, our website at mytelligent.io and our related services (together, the "Services") collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
If you don't agree with this policy, please don't use the Services.
The short version
- M1 listens on the device only for its wake word, the name you give it. Only what you say after the wake word is sent to the cloud.
- The camera turns on only when you tell it to, and its light is always on while it's working. It never runs in the background.
- We don't sell your personal data, and we don't build advertising profiles.
- Apps you connect, like Google Calendar or Gmail, are used only to do what you ask, and you can disconnect them at any time.
- You can see, export and delete your data, and delete your account, from Privacy settings in the app.
- M1 is not for children under 13. Teens 13 to 17 can use it only through a parent's Family Center.
What we collect
Account information. Your name, email address and password. If you buy something, your shipping address. If you add them, the names and phone numbers of your emergency contacts.
What you say to M1. M1 listens on the device only for its wake word. Nothing you say before the wake word is recorded, stored or sent anywhere. What you say after the wake word is sent to our cloud service, which turns it into text, works out an answer and speaks it back. Raw audio recordings are not stored on our servers.
Photos, video and what M1 sees. The camera works only when you ask: to take a photo or video, to answer "what am I looking at?", or during a vision-assist session that you start. The camera light is always on while the camera is working, and the camera never runs in the background.
- Photos and videos move to your phone and are then deleted from M1.
- For "what am I looking at?", the photo is sent with your question to our cloud AI to answer it.
- Vision-assist frames are processed on M1 itself. They are never stored and never sent anywhere.
Your voiceprint (optional). If you agree, M1 learns your voice so it can tell you apart from other people. It's used only to recognize you. You can delete it at any time in the app. We also delete it automatically if it goes unused for 12 months, and when you delete your account. Apart from this optional voiceprint, M1 doesn't collect biometric identifiers: no face recognition and no fingerprints.
Location. M1 uses your phone's location for navigation, weather, finding local places, and SOS. When you raise an SOS, your location is sent to your emergency contacts (see "SOS texts" below). For teen accounts under Family Center, location may be shared with the parent, and M1 says out loud when it shares it.
Conversations. We keep a short summary of each conversation in History in the app, so you can look back at it. Full transcripts are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Translations are not stored as text.
Connected apps. If you connect apps such as Google Calendar, Gmail or Microsoft Outlook, we access them only with your permission and only to do what you ask. See "Connected apps and Google user data" below.
Device and app information. Device identifiers, firmware version, battery and connection status, settings and routines, and basic usage information (for example, which features are used), so we can run, fix and improve the Services.
Purchases. When you place an order, we collect your name, email and shipping address. Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number or security code. We only record the payment type (for example "Card" or "Klarna").
Website logs. Our web server records standard request data, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the website secure and working. We don't use analytics or advertising tools on our website.
Messages to us. When you contact support, we keep your name, email and what you write.
How we use it
- To run M1 and the app: answer your requests, take photos when you ask, guide you, translate, and remember your settings.
- To do things in the apps you connect, when you ask.
- To send an SOS to your emergency contacts when you raise one.
- To run Family Center for parents and teens.
- To process orders, payments, shipping, returns and warranty claims, including Mytelligent Plus.
- To give support and answer your messages.
- To keep the Services secure and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To improve the Services using de-identified, aggregated usage information.
- To send product news, only if you've agreed. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We don't sell your personal data. We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't use your data for third-party advertising.
Connected apps and Google user data
You can connect apps such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Microsoft Outlook and others to M1. When you do:
- We access them only with your permission, which you give on the provider's own sign-in screen.
- We use them only to do what you ask. For example, to read out your next meeting, add an event, or read or send an email you ask for.
- The access tokens are encrypted, both when they're sent and when they're stored.
- You can disconnect any app at any time in the app's settings. You can also remove our access from your Google or Microsoft account settings. When you disconnect an app, we delete its tokens.
Google user data. Mytelligent's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy). In particular:
- We use Google user data only to provide the features you use in M1 and the Mytelligent app.
- We don't sell Google user data.
- We don't use Google user data for advertising.
- We don't use Google user data to train AI models.
- We don't let people read your Google data, unless you ask us to (for example, for support), it's needed for security, or the law requires it.
- We share it with service providers only when that's needed to do what you asked. They must protect it and may not use it for anything else.
SOS texts
If you turn on SOS texts from Mytelligent, we store the names and mobile phone numbers of the emergency contacts you add. When you raise an SOS, we keep a record of it: the time, the outcome, and how many contacts were reached. If you turned on location for SOS, we also keep where your phone was when you raised it. Your contacts' numbers are used only to send them SOS texts they have agreed to receive.
Amazon Web Services (AWS End User Messaging), our hosting provider, sends SOS texts on our behalf as a processor. It receives the contact's phone number and the text of the message. The text includes a link on sos.mytelligent.io to where your phone was, and the link expires after 72 hours.
How long we keep it
- Full conversation transcripts: 30 days.
- Conversation summaries in History: until you delete them or your account.
- Translations: not stored as text.
- Photos and videos: deleted from M1 once they've moved to your phone. On your phone, they're yours to keep or delete.
- Vision-assist frames: never stored.
- Voiceprint: until you delete it, after 12 months unused, or when you delete your account, whichever comes first.
- Connected-app tokens: until you disconnect the app or delete your account.
- Family Center summaries: 90 days. Family Center safety events: 30 days.
- Account data: while your account is open, then deleted, except what we must keep by law.
- Order records: as long as tax and commercial law requires (usually 7 years).
- Support messages: up to 3 years after the issue is resolved.
- Emergency contacts: until you remove them, turn SOS texts off, or delete your account.
- SOS records: 13 months.
- SOS location links: 72 hours.
- Records showing that a contact agreed to receive SOS texts: up to 4 years after the agreement ends, so that we can show the contact agreed. These records are pseudonymous and don't contain the contact's name or phone number in readable form.
- De-identified, aggregated usage statistics may be kept longer, because they can't be linked back to you.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access inside Mytelligent is limited to the people who need it, and we review our security regularly. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
Your rights and choices
You can do all of the following from Privacy settings in the Mytelligent app:
- See your data.
- Export a copy of it.
- Delete individual items, such as History, your voiceprint or connected apps.
- Delete your account and its data.
You can also correct your details in the app, unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and withdraw any consent you've given. If you can't use the app, email privacy@mytelligent.io.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to access it; to delete it; to correct it; and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We don't sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use sensitive information, such as precise location and your optional voiceprint, only to provide the Services you ask for. We won't treat you differently for using your rights. You or an agent you authorize can make a request in the app or by emailing privacy@mytelligent.io. We'll verify your request before we act on it.
EU, EEA and UK residents. You also have the right to object to processing and to complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are: performing our contract with you; your consent (for example, for your voiceprint, location and connected apps); our legitimate interests (for example, security and improving the Services); and legal obligations. When we transfer personal data from the EU, EEA or UK, we use safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
For SOS texts, the legal basis is your consent for storing your emergency contacts and sending them SOS texts; your contact's own consent, given by text message, for receiving them; and our legitimate interests for keeping records of that consent. You can turn SOS texts off at any time in the app, and your contacts' numbers are then deleted from our servers.
Children and teens
M1 is not for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we find that we have, we delete it. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, email privacy@mytelligent.io.
Teens aged 13 to 17 may use M1 only through a parent's Family Center. With Family Center:
- The parent sets controls for the teen's M1.
- The parent sees summaries of topics and how often M1 was used. The parent never sees what the teen said.
- Summaries are kept for 90 days, and safety events for 30 days.
- If the parent turns on location sharing, M1 says out loud when it shares the teen's location.
Where data is processed
Mytelligent is based in the United States, and your data is processed in the United States and in other countries where our service providers operate. Their data protection laws may differ from those where you live. We protect your data as this policy describes wherever it's processed.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we'll also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
